Senior E-Commerce Manager

We are looking for a Senior E-Commerce Manager to keep pace with the ever changing competitive environment and develop strategic marketing growth plans to best serve the interests of the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meeting client expectations by recommending strategies that will establish and  grow their business 
  • Providing support for strategy development and sales performances  of clientele
  • Responsible to identify growth opportunities with an analytic approach and define  workable action plans together 
  • Identification of new online marketing strategies that are feasible and effective
  • You will be responsible for determining the format and features of client websites,  in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers
  • You are required  to keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world
  • Researching the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys
  • Responsible for the strategic planning for e-marketing expenditures well in advance and development of financial plans that will help maximize resources
  • Present plans for new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of successful e commerce growth
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in launching and setting up new e commerce businesses
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques with web merchandising and online retailing
  • Operational Knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis
  • Sound knowledge of website management and e commerce usability
  • Expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimisation, and e-marketing strategies
  • Ability to multitask effectively and problem-solve efficiently when needed
  • You are required to be creative, pragmatic and eager to learn
  • A strong grasp of modern technology and social media is essential to the job
  • Ability to change strategies and rethink conventional wisdom at any point of time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
